Biopticon Corporation Announces the release of the new version of their innovative TumorManagerTM Program for managing preclinical oncology study data

Biopticon today released the latest version of their TumorManagerTM Program (version 1.3). It will be shown along with the TumorImagerTM at the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) Exhibition in Chicago, IL in early April. This is the first major upgrade to the TumorManagerTM and incorporates many user requested enhancements making it the most flexible, powerful and easy to use pre-clinical oncology study management program available today.

Randomizations can also be performed on imported external data as well as tumor volume, animal weight etc. Finally, our users have repeatedly told us TumorManagerTM is exceptionally intuitive to learn and easy to use program and the addition of the Automatic Measurement Status function makes it even easier for users to know at a glance that they have completed measurements on all scheduled animals. We believe that our Tumor Management System is becoming the gold standard for simplifying, automating and improving data quality in preclinical oncology studies.”

Biopticon Corporation reaches milestone in market adoption of their innovative Tumor Management System for preclinical oncology studies.

Biopticon today announced that it had met its first milestone for customer adoption of the revolutionary TumorImagerTM with the installation of in multiple systems at Merck sites Boston and Palo Alto. Previous placements were made at Johnson & Johnson’s Ortho Biotech Oncology R&D unit, AstraZeneca’s MedImmune unit, Covidien Imaging, Bayer and the Simon Cancer Center at Indiana University.
“We are extremely pleased to have so many major pharmaceutical customers recognize the value this system brings to their preclinical oncology studies. Several of these groups have shared their data with us showing the improved statistics give them greater confidence that they are getting meaningful results, in a shorter time along with greater sensitivity to drug response” said Jim Patterson, Biopticon’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “These customers form the core of our user advisory team which provides us with constant feedback on how to enhance our system to better meet their needs.
